Sienna Smith E-RYT 500, CMT
Owner of Yoga Mountain , Teacher and Yoga Therapist
Yoga therapy is my #1 passion and interest. I have learned from healing my own injuries and pain as well as empowering others to heal theirs. Yoga Therapy has been scientifically proven to help with many physical, physiological and emotional issues of the body, mind and heart. I will help you to align your body using easy to follow principles that create freedom, strength, stability, flexibility and a bright inner radiance that yoga is known for. Yoga can also help significantly reduce stress which is known to contribute to over 80% of all illnesses and injuries. I will build a yoga program that includes a daily practice designed specifically for you and additional self-care practices that may serve in your healing. Many clients have commented on how amazed they are that a short daily practice can produce such profound and lasting results. I only accept clients who seriously want to heal and are ready to commit to a daily practice of at least 20 minutes. After hundreds of clients~ this is what I know works.

Elana is a Massage Therapist, Yoga Instructor and Nutritional Consultant. She has been working professionally as a massage therapist for over 10 years and has over 600 hours of training in different modalities (including deep tissue, lomi-lomi, shiatsu, neuro-muscular therapy, and watsu), which she integrates into a style which is firm yet fluid, nurturing and intuitive contrasted with deeper, focused work. She also integrates some passive movement and stretching into the massage work, which allows spontaneous release of certain muscles. Her experience as a yoga instructor has brought a better understanding of people’s personal body dynamics and holding patterns.
With over 10 years teaching experience her approach to teaching yoga is about balancing Yin and Yang principles - the Yin aspects of nurturing, listening, softening with the Yang aspects of challenging, engaging, and building Tapas (heat, energy). She also sees incredible value in sharing the practices of Pranayama, or yogic breathing techniques. She can personalize a yoga practice to suit your needs at any stage of life.
